Brief Description

Founded in October 2003 by a group of students and young artists, SKENA UP is the NGO that organises the International Students’ Film and Theatre Festival in Kosova. SKENA UP Festival is unique not only in Kosova, but also in the wider Balkan region, by being one of the few ‘in competition’ festivals dedicated to film and theatre students.
SKENA UP aims to promote artistic and professional values in Kosova, as well as partnership and artistic commitment between Kosova and other countries in the world. In addition, by bringing together young artists from all the various countries of the Balkans, SKENA UP makes a modest, but valuable, contribution towards promoting inter-ethnic understanding and reconciliation in the region.


E themeluar në tetor të vitit 2003 nga një grup studentësh dhe artistësh të rinj, SKENA UP është OJQ-ja e cila e organizon Festivalin Ndërkombëtar të Studentëve të Filmit dhe Teatrit. Festivali SKENA UP është unik jo vetëm në Kosovë, por edhe më gjerë në Ballkan, duke qenë një nga disa festivalet ‘garuese’ për studentët e filmit dhe teatrit.
SKENA UP ka për qëllim t’i promovojë vlerat artistike dhe profesionale në Kosovë si dhe partneritetin dhe angazhimet në mes të Kosovës dhe vendeve tjera në botë. Pos kësaj, duke i bërë bashkë artistët e rinj nga vende të ndryshme të Ballkanit, SKENA UP e bën një kontribut modest, po shumë të vlefshëm drejt promovimit të mirëkuptimit dhe pajtimit ndëretnik në rajon.
