Brief Description
Center for Peace and Tolerance (CPT) is a non-profitable nongovernmental organization, founded in 2002 and registered in accordance with UNMIK Regulation 2001/13.
CPT has been founded with the aim to support strengthening capacities of local institutions in Kosovo Serb dominated municipalities and advocate transparent and cost effective local governance. CPT strongly advocate need for creating sound and effective Kosovo Serb representation at all levels of governance, and active participation of Kosovo Serbs in political and social life in Kosovo

Conducted series of Conflict Resolution documentary screenings throughout Kosovo Serb areas. Supported by National Endowment for democracy through YIHR. - Organizing comprehensive training for Municipal Leaders and selected CSO’s in newly established municipalities on IPA funds. Funding provided by European Commission through KCSF. - Performing Management role of Kosovo Policy Action Network. Funding provided by AED. - Monitoring the work of newly established municipalities. Funding provided by KFOS. - Implementing Go out and Vote campaign aiming at enhancing turnout of minorities at the Kosovo elections. Funding provided by AED/USAID. - Establishing of Novo Brdo youth council, funding provided by YIHR. - Initiating positive changes in Kosovo Serb municipalities, funding provided by NED. - Facilitation of horizontal linkages between Kosovo Serb municipalities, funding provided by BTD. - Analyze of opinion, attitude and media habits with regard to Slobodno Srpski Talk Show. - Monitoring election campaign in Kosovo Serb municipalities. - Conducting community outreach with regard to census in Kosovo
