Brief Description

Student Council of Kosovo is a nationally representative structure through which high school students in Kosovo represent their schools in order to protect the interests of students and collaborate with officials, parents and teachers to benefit the students and their education.

Student Council of Kosovo was established under the Law on Secondary Education and Higher Education and as such is the only legitimate framework to represent the voice of students in Kosovo. The main role of the Student Council of Kosovo is "to promote the interests of the institution of school in Kosovo and the involvement of students inschool affairs, in cooperation with officials, parents and teachers at all levels. "

Student Council of Kosovo has its statute and its internal executive structure. As such it was created by Kosovar Youth Council (NGO) with support from UNICEF and MEST.




Këshilli i Nxënësve të Kosovës KNK është strukturë përfaqësuese në nivel nacional nëpërmjet së cilës nxënësit e shkollave të mesme të Kosovës përfaqësojnë shkollat e tyre në mënyrë që të mbrojnë interesat e nxënësve dhe të bashkëpunojnë me zyrtarët, prindërit dhe profesorët për të përfituar arsimi dhe nxënësit.

Këshilli i Nxënësve te Kosovës është themeluar ne bazë të ligjit mbi Arsimin e Mesëm dhe të Lartë dhe si e tillë është e vetmja strukturë legjitime për te përfaqësuar zërin e nxënësve të Kosovës. Roli kryesor i Këshillit të Nxënësve të Kosovës është: “të promovoj interesat e institucionit të shkollës në Kosovë dhe përfshirjen e nxënësve në punët e shkollës, në bashkëpunim me zyrtarët, prindërit dhe profesorët në të gjitha nivelet”.

Këshilli i Nxënësve të Kosovës e ka statutin e vet dhe strukturën e brendshme ekzekutive. Si e tillë është krijuar nga Këshilli Rinor Kosovar (OJQ) me mbështetje të UNICEF dhe MASHT.
