World We Want POST-2015
We want your opinion!
The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight global promises for human progress, agreed by all government that pledged to achieve specific targets in reducing poverty, increasing access to healthcare, education, water and sanitation, equality between men and women, protecting the environment and making human development a priority.
In just over two years – by 2015- we will reach the MDG deadline. Now we, as a planet, must make some important decisions. We will need to review our performance. Did we meet the targets we promised? And we will need to decide new goals together.
Kosovo is one of the few countries to have the privilege to be a part of this decision-making process. Across Kosovo the United Nations Kosovo Team (UNKT) is holding a series of consultations – with old and young, rich and poor and all ethnic groups talking about the development of our communities, our country and our planet. Your opinion will be part of Kosovo’s report and can help world leaders to establish new goals towards a better world.
